It was a great trip. We had several “firsts”. The first time driving a RV. The first time living (camping) in a RV. The first time on the Alaska highway. Our first cruise. Our first time sharing a RV with our dear friends Janet and Pete. 32 feet is not that big when you put 4 adults in it. The first time I tried to make a blog and it shows.

Overall it was a tremendous experience. We really enjoyed having Pete and Janet with us on our journey. We saw beautiful scenery and some animals. We enjoyed the cruise. It was polar opposite of the drive.

The most recent pictures are from the end of our cruise. I didn’t have them down loaded until today. Another learning experience. They show Klawock. It’s an indigenous village that has not had much cruise exposure. The pictures are meant to show the typical scenery and weather.

Totem graveyard. They are supposedly 200-250 years old. When they don’t stand up they are laid on the ground to return to nature in a respectful manner. They are not cut or rushed to rot.
